INJURIES

Arthritis Management
Arthritis affects people of all ages, but occurs more often as a person gets older. Some forms often begin when a person is between ages 20 and 40. Arthritis is usually chronic.  The most common type is osteoarthritis which involves the breakdown of cartilage and bones, causing pain and stiffness. Other forms include rheumatoid arthritis, fibromylagia, osteoporosis, lupus, gout, lower back pain, bursitis and tendonitis.
If you have been diagnosed with arthritis, Advanced Therapy offers a specialized arthritis management program. Our goal is to help ease your functional limitations, reduce and manage your pain and educate you on self-care and fitness.
Your care begins with a comprehensive evaluation of your functional limitations. Our team of expert physical therapists will then design a treatment plan based on your individual needs and goals. Throughout your treatment, we will work hard to help you return to all your normal functional activities.
